Baskinta hosts a 24-km Literary Trail dedicated to the discovery of 22 literary landmarks related to acclaimed writers who call her home. These include award-winning novelist Amin Maalouf, as well as poet, novelist and philosopher Mikhail Naimy, co-founder of New York literary society the Pen League, who drafted much of his significant work in a hut amid Baskinta’s rock formations.
