Fascinating tales are told by Andket’s (also named Dinbou) locals of the silk factory where they once worked. Built in 1898, the factory closed at the beginning of the French mandate, but still still lies along the riverbed south of Andket, as do four ancient water mills once used to grind wheat into flour.
