Her numerous springs nourish surrounding lands, including the Al Qaah spring that once sustained the Beiteddine palace during the rule of Emir Bachir, and the Al Reaayan spring which quenches the thirsts of Aley, Bhamdoun and other neighbors. Her Ain al Hilaf spring was recorded in history as the site where Emir Bachir held peace talks with his adversaries.
