The hike downhill from Chouwen meanders through the dense foliage of a forest, concealing the surrounding landscapes, to ultimately uncover the absolutely breathtaking Jannet Chouwen, a lake with a name literally translating to “the paradise of Chouwen”. On the river bank of the Ibrahim River, this hidden haven lies north of the Jabal Moussa Reserve which extends over 6,500 hectares.
