This hill-top marvel is home to the Lady of Lebanon, a statue of the Virgin Mary watching over Mount Lebanon. Accessible by a gondola lift known as the Téléphérique, the shrine was erected in honor of the 50th anniversary of the “Immaculate” conception dogma declared by Pope Pius IX.
