The early history of this green goddess was influenced by two major factors; her fertile grounds, as well as her location along what once was the silk road. Today, her forests are the largest in Lebanon and the most bio-diverse in the region, housing ancient relics and monuments dating back to the Phoenician, Greek and Roman empires.
