Set amidst pine-forested hills, Roumieh houses a closely-knit community of residents who have built their homes along her terraces and mountain roads. In addition to her fig orchards and olive groves, she is well-known for the Arak liquor she produces, with her locals claiming it to be one of the best in the country.
