Tannourine

Home to a remarkable Roman aqueduct and an abandoned village housing 6th century churches and monasteries, Tannourine boasts a rich ecosystem dotted with historical treasures. Though her cedars forest nature reserve of 60,000 trees is noteworthy, Tannourine’s most well-known natural wonder is her Baatara sinkhole, a fascinating gorge and waterfall discovered in 1952.
