Beit Chabab

Engulfed by a lush pine forest and characterized by her many traditional houses and old churches, this Metn charmer is famous for her traditional crafts of pottery, weaving and bell-founding, a craft introduced in Lebanon by Russia in 1700. Beit Chabab has the only bell foundry in Lebanon and exports her bells to neighbors Jordan and Syria.
